Welcome to Victoria!
I am touching bases and just saying “hi” as I see that you are (so far!) the other art exhibit at the Joint entomological conference in Vancouver in November. I was so excited when I saw the theme. I am an entomologist and several members of my family are artists that have incorporated insects into various aspects of their art–be it acrylics, lino-cuts, silk painting or wall murals who agreed that this would be a great juxtaposition of the two.
Looking forward to seeing you there or in your new studio sooner than that.
